newly renovated Field House! The Field House
is the perfect location for birthday parties, family reunions,
wedding receptions, funeral luncheons, business meetings
and much more!  All Park District properties are available for
rent.   Please contact the Park District Office for details.

*Contestants may enter a barbecue competition with a chance to win the top prize of $350.00
Registration is required.  Contestant entry forms and a complete list of rules are available in the Park
District Office.  Come show off your secret family recipe and you just might walk away with some
real cash!  No entry FEE!

*Flea Market Vendor/Resident Garage Sale booths.  A limited number of spaces (20) will be available
for just $20.00 each.  Any interested party may purchase a space from the Park District Office.  Call
(815) 472-2670 today to reserve your space!

*Visitors to the Island are welcome to shop the Flea Market and Garage Sale Booths at no charge.  A
complete barbecue meal will be available for just $5.00 for adults and $2.00 age 6-12.  Under age 6 is
FREE!  This Island will smell so tasty you won't be able to resist!  Purchase meal tickets in advance
as a limited number of tickets will be available on the day of the event.

*RAFFLE - RAFFLE - RAFFLE
The Park District will be selling $1.00 raffle tickets for a brand new family size grill.  Tickets are on
sale now at the Momence Park District Office, Frank's Bait Shop on Route 1 in Momence and Susie's
Corner on Washington Street in beautiful downtown Momence.

FAMILY FUN DAYS AT SPLASH VALLEY!

TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE 2008 FAMILY FUN DAYS AT SPLASH VALLEY.  TICKETS ARE $2.50 PER
PERSON AND WILL BE ACCEPTED AT SPLASH VALLEY WATER PARK FROM 1:00 pm TO 5:00 pm.  This program is
offered to all Momence Park District Residents.  If you live outside the Park District boundaries, tickets are
available for $5.00 a piece.  Tickets can be purchased at the Park District Office 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.   If you are
holding tickets from the rain date in 2007, they may be exchanged at the Park District Office for 2008 tickets.  
2007 tickets will not be accepted directly at Splash Valley.  
BICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN SAFETY
PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN

FRIDAY - JULY 18, 2008 at WALNUT STREET PARK

FREE!

This half hour program will feature a presentation by a representative of the
Secretary of State Office.  The program includes instruction on appropriate
methods of sharing the road and bicycle/pedestrian safety.  The program is
geared to children aged 4 to 9.  Refreshments will be served by the Park District.
