ISLAND PARK:
Field House - Includes
private restroom
facility, full kitchen,
seating for up to 50
people, and air
conditioning.
Bandstand - Elevated,
covered pavilion in the
center of Island Park
with electricity
available. The
Bandstand
accommodates six
picnic tables.
East End Pavilion - A
large pavilion on the
shady east side of
Island Park. The
pavilion has electricity
available and restroom
facilities nearby.
Entire East End - The
East End is the perfect
location for large
groups. Offering a
pavilion, restroom's
and plenty of room to
roam!
Rent The Whole Park!
Island Park is available
for rent in its entirety to
very large groups or for
corporate outings. The
park is unavailable
during festivals and
events and requires 30
days notice.
Walnut Street Park -
This well shaded
traditional city style
park offers a large
playground and
pavilion with picnic
tables.
Island View Park -
Island View offers
plenty of room to play
ball! A basketball
court, playground and
picnic tables with a
fabulous view of the
North Channel of the
Kankakee River add to
the pleasure of your
outing.
Jed & Emma Park -
The newest Park in the
District, Jed & Emma
Park has a
state-of-the-art
playground and picnic
table. Perfect for small
groups with lots of
young children.
Boat Launch Park -
This Park has limited
facilities, but direct
access to the
Kankakee River.
